Meet Emelie!
Hi there :) My name is Emelie Latzer and I'm a recent graduate of NYU (B.M. in Vocal Performance/Musical Theatre). I currently live in Queens, New York (I basically live on the Long Island Railroad). I am an actor, singer, and ~strong~ mover. If I had to describe myself in a few adjectives I would say that I'm: positive, enthusiastic, quirky, funny, and hungry ( I'm a big foody hehe)

I was born in NYC and I am a proud descendant of Ukrainian Jewish and European immigrants. I moved to Hong Kong when I was just 5 years old and attended Hong Kong International School where I learned Mandarin and did my first musical in 6th grade, "Seussical!" (a classic).

I moved back to NYC in 8th grade and continued performing in community theatre and at school. I was a Vocal Major at NYC’s LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts (the"Fame" School!).

Outside of my studies at NYU, I am a private acting, vocal, and audition coach for young performers. Some of my clients include the principal child actor for the national tour of A Bronx Tale. For the past five summers, I have worked as a senior counselor/assistant director at the Musical Theatre Camp at Queens College CUNY where I was an acting and vocal teacher for children 6 through 16.

I have two very cute cats named Lolly and Mitzi who I walk on a leash (I'm not kidding, they love it). I love exploring NYC, eating at good restaurants, and knowing too much celebrity gossip.
